Il nostro sogno si realizzò nel 2001: acquistammo quattro ettari di terreno dall’esposizione ottimale e una cascina, situati nel piccolo borgo di Vignale Monferrato, terra d’origine di Gabriele, con l’intento di produrre grandi vini.

Sulla base delle analisi dei terreni decidemmo di piantare quattro varietà di uva: barbera, cabernet sauvignon, merlot e pinot nero, affinché ciascuna potesse portare ricchezza ed espressione del territorio negli assemblaggi. Nel 2011 acquistammo una vigna di Malvasia di Casorzo per sostenere questa dolce biodiversità. Abbiamo cresciuto le nostre viti nel pieno rispetto della Natura certificando la produzione biologica nel 2013. (IT BIO I 1811). Nel 2017 è nato il vino bianco ottenuto da uve arneis.

Nel 2022 è stata inaugurata l’enoteca LAGOBAVA ARTEVINO di Cannobio, sul Lago Maggiore, dove offriamo i vini di produzione affiancati dalle migliori bottiglie italiane; vi è inoltre lo spazio espositivo che ospita mostre d’arte di rilievo. Il progetto Collezione da bere, avviato nel 2024, celebra l’unione tra arte e vino, con etichette d’autore che suggellano una Riserva in edizione limitata che, come l’arte, trascende il tempo. Nel 2026 si apre l’accoglienza in Azienda, in mezzo alle vigne. Ad altiora semper!

Our dream came true in 2001: with the intention of producing great wines, we purchased four hectares of land in Vignale Monferrato, where Gabrielle was born, with the perfect exposure and a farmhouse.Based on soil analyses, we decided to plant four grape varieties: Barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Pinot Noir, so that each could bring richness and a sense of place to the blends. In 2011, we acquired a vineyard of Malvasia di Casorzo to support this sweet biodiversity. We have grown our vines with the utmost respect for Nature, achieving organic certification in 2013 (IT BIO I 1811). In 2017, our white wine made from Arneis grapes was born.In 2022, the LAGOBAVA ARTEVINO wine shop opened in Cannobio on Lake Maggiore. Here we offer our own wines alongside the finest Italian bottles with an exhibition space where we host a wide range of well know contemporary artists. The Drinkable Collection project, launched in 2024, celebrates the union between art and wine, with artist-designed labels that mark a limited-edition Riserva which, like art itself, transcends time. In 2026, we will open our hospitality facilities at the winery, right among the vineyards. Ad altiora semper!

SPUMANTE ROSE’ 

The rosé pas dosè sparkling wine, Charmat method, obtained from a careful selection of Pinot Noir grapes, always harvested by hand, has an elegant colour and fruity aromas, is fresh and savoury.

ROERO ARNEIS

From a collaboration with the Roero area comes the white wine par excellence of Piedmont. The yellow label recalls the colour of the wine, anticipating

its fresh.

Born from the historic aromatic grapes of Casorzo, traditionally vinified as a sweet sparkling wine; LAGOBAVA dares a new interpretation, giving life to a dry rosé wine that preserves its characteristic aromatic scents and the intense, decisive color, which reveals a full taste; the slightly tannic finish allows for multiple pairings.

L'AMO

With its green label, this wine arouses new feelings in the drinker. Young, fresh and perfumed. Blending Pinot Noir and Merlot, we have created a unique wine.

SOLOROSSO

A young, immediate wine, with all the characteristics of the LAGOBAVA vines.

The red colour of the label recalls the red fruit, made more delicious by proper ageing in wood, while the black background recalls the

robustness of the Vignale Monferrato Barbera.

LAGOBAVA

Also known as "orange label".

The principal wine from this vineyard is a blend of Barbera and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

Aged in barrels, and released after a few years in the bottle, this wine ages well and will challenge

even the most discerning of palates.

Our fresh pomace is sent to the

Antica Distilleria di Altavilla which, since 1846, has extracted the essence of the Barbera grape using steam alembics.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON

A very Monferrato cabernet sauvignon: determined, virile, upright. Gabriele dedicated this wine to the memory of his father and his mother painted each label. After a careful selection of the grapes, four years of barrique and batonage every week and finally the refinement in the bottle, it presents a soft, caressing finish. A Rossinian crescendo!

CASENTINI 2012 – The first “collectible” wine by LAGOBAVA, born from the collaboration with the artist Marco Casentini, creator of the label and the box. Only 100 numbered bottles were produced. The tones of the label, so warm, velvety, with a perfectly balanced combination, evoke the taste of this wine, a blend of Barbera and Cabernet Sauvignon, from the 2012 vintage. A rich, very soft and concentrated wine that, after being aged for over 4 years in barrique, rested another 8 years in the bottle.

MORANDINI 2012

The “Collezione da bere” project marks the union between the Lagobava winery and Art. Launched in 2024, it now presents its second limited edition: 100 numbered bottles bearing the name of Marcello Morandini, who designed a unique label inspired by an original, unpublished work. With sixty years of career behind him, Morandini’s creativity stands out for its geometric precision and chromatic minimalism. And it is precisely this sense of rigor that creates a bond with our signature wine: rich, smooth, and concentrated—crafted to age gracefully over time. A special Reserve dedicated to art, because, like art, it declares its triumph over time. The signature of Marcello Morandini, an extraordinary artist, transforms this wine into a true collector’s piece.
